What is Sciatica?

Common Causes of Sciatica

The most common cause of sciatica is a herniated disc.  Herniated discs occur when the soft center of the spinal disc pushes through a crack in the exterior casing. Other causes of sciatica are degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis and joint dysfunction.
